Meet the Clinicians
I am trained in clinical social work and school psychology. This prepares me to see adults and children. My clients teach me the most and it is through my commitment to them that I strive to learn new ways of helping in order to meet their needs. It is my goal to help remove barriers so that children, individuals and families can learn to regulate their emotions and behavior, thrive and enjoy their relationships. I serve individuals and families located in the State of Kansas and Oklahoma and internationally through telehealth.
I have worked with “children from hard places” for over twenty five years. I have a passion for children who have experienced a significant loss, foster care or adoption and the families that care for them. I also have a passion for helping children learn and removing barriers to their success. I believe people are important and we learn how to “do” relationships from our parents, grandparents, caregivers, teachers and other people who pour themselves into our lives. Unfortunately, sometimes the lessons learned in these relationships are full of sadness, fear, and feeling unsafe. Personally, I have been part of a military family for over twenty years and understand the challenges that brings.
I have seen firsthand how children who have emotional struggles have difficulty regulating their emotions and behavior, getting along in the classroom, with making friends, and simply getting along in the world; things most parents and kids take for granted. I want to give support, hope, and practical skills to address these issues. Drawing upon my own experiences and professional training I have the ability to help children, youth, individuals and families overcome difficulties and increase satisfaction and contentment. It is a privilege to be in such a valuable and worthwhile profession.

I am a Master’s level Social Worker, currently working on my clinical license, as well as my RTT certification (Rapid Transformational Therapy). I’ve been practicing social work in the school system for about 28 years. I’ve recently decided to expand my practice beyond school-age youths.
I have a passion to see everyone living their best lives. I believe that we were all born on purpose, for a purpose. Mark Twain said it best when he said, “the two most important days of our life is the day we were born and the day we find out why”.
Knowing our purpose gives life meaning. However, when life becomes overwhelming and the effects of it starts to wreak havoc on our personal and professional life, a purpose-driven life is difficult to achieve. When the weight of keeping up with expectations, not feeling worthy enough, smart enough, skinny enough, rich enough while trying to obtain and maintain approval from others becomes too unbearable to handle, our psyche can cause devasting consequences. As a result, it starts to shut down, repeatedly playing negative narratives in our mind until we become sick emotionally, mentally and physically.
Our mind is very powerful, and it will listen and do everything we want it to do, good or bad. Unfortunately, many people have not mastered the ability to speak the language of the mind to achieve optimal living. This is not about achieving perfection, because we’ll never be perfect, but I believe that you can live the perfect life that you’ve always dreamt of. However, it starts with a changed mindset. “If you truly want to change your life, you must first be willing to change your mind”. My mission is to use my skills, experience, and knowledge to empower and help you to manifest the life you desire. Peace, joy and abundance is your birthright and I want to help you reclaim what you’ve lost, find your purpose, tap into your gifts and guide you as you use your gift to impact others.
"The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away"
